From Site Inspection to Installation

At Green Conception, we believe customers should understand their project before any work begins. Whether the project involves solar, roofing, or both, our process is designed to provide clarity, accurate expectations, and transparency from the start.

Our goal is to give customers a clear baseline early in the process and then confirm details before moving into on-site work and installation.

Starting With Design and a Baseline Quote

In most cases, we begin by creating a preliminary design and quote before conducting a site inspection. We do this intentionally so customers can review system scope, layout, and estimated pricing early.

Using satellite imagery, utility data, roof measurements, and homeowner-provided information, we can often deliver a quote that is typically 95% or more accurate without visiting the property.

This early design approach allows customers to understand the project, ask questions, and make informed decisions before scheduling inspections or moving forward.

Customer Collaboration Improves Accuracy

Customer input plays a vital role in early accuracy. This may include photos of the roof or electrical panel, confirmation of roof type and age, utility information, and feedback on system goals or plans.

With this collaboration, we can refine the design, identify potential issues early, and provide clearer expectations upfront.

When a Site Inspection Is Needed

Once a customer reviews and approves the preliminary design and quote, a site inspection may be scheduled if required.

The purpose of the site inspection is to verify details that cannot always be fully confirmed remotely. This may include electrical infrastructure, roof structure, access considerations, and local code requirements.

In many cases, the site inspection confirms what was already designed. In other cases, it helps identify conditions that require adjustments.

Single Point of Contact Throughout the Project

Beginning with the site inspection stage, each customer is assigned a dedicated project manager or project coordinator who serves as their single point of contact through final inspection and project completion.

Through experience and refinement of our process, we have found that customers have the best experience when communication is centralized, consistent, and accountable. Having a single primary contact helps ensure questions are answered clearly and that information is not lost between steps.

Why Changes Can Occasionally Occur

Solar and roofing projects involve existing structures, electrical systems, and local regulations. While early design is highly accurate, some factors can only be confirmed on-site. Examples may include required electrical upgrades, structural reinforcement, city or utility requirements, or conditions not visible through photos or imagery. If changes are needed, we explain the reason clearly and review available options with the customer before proceeding.

Permits, Installation, and Final Approval

After design confirmation and any required inspections, permits are submitted, and the project moves into scheduling. Installation is completed according to approved plans, followed by final inspections and any needed utility approvals before system activation. Throughout this process, communication and documentation help keep expectations aligned.

Support and Issue Resolution

If a customer needs assistance beyond direct communication with their project manager, they can submit a support ticket at any time.

Submitting a support ticket notifies the assigned project manager and our administrative and operations team. Tickets are actively monitored to ensure timely responses and efficient resolution.

This structure helps us track requests, follow up consistently, and resolve concerns as quickly as possible.

Our Commitment to Clear Expectations

Our process is built around one principle: customers should understand what they are getting before committing.

By designing early, collaborating with homeowners, assigning a dedicated point of contact, and confirming details before installation, we aim to minimize surprises and deliver projects that meet expectations.

At the end of the day, clear communication leads to better outcomes for everyone.
